Mark Patrick Murray is based in Brooklyn Heights, New York, where he was born and raised. He holds a BFA from Pratt Institute, having completed internships during his college years with Vanity Fair and Interview Magazines, as well as The Annie Leibovitz Studio in New York City.
Mark recently completed several portrait commissions which resulted in cover stories for Financial Advisor Magazine (New York City) and InFocus Magazine (Australia), and his photographs have been prominently featured on CNBC's "The Money" program.
Mark's portraits have been reproduced in The New York Times, Dance Magazine, the Village Voice, New York Magazine.
Hearing impaired from infancy, Mark has always been drawn to the photographic experience – an art form that sees without listening.
